North Central Institute elects new Chair

Brian Kavanaugh was elected Chair of the US Junior Chamber North Central Institute at the Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 8th in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Arkansas is one of eight states that compose the North Central Institute (NCI). His photo from a presentation he made at our June 2008 Board of Directors meeting is above.

Brian Kavanaugh joined JCI Wayne County, Nebraska, USA in January 1995 before joining JCI Ralston and moving to Omaha, Nebraska in 2000. He has served in a variety of positions at all levels of the organization, including the 34th President of JCI Ralston in 2001, Chair of the JCI USA Awards Committee in 2003, and the 81st State President of JCI Nebraska 2007. In 2008 he served as a JCI Vice President assigned to seven national organizations in Europe, and in 2009 was a National Vice President for JCI USA. He is currently serving president of the Nebraska Jaycee Foundation and continues to serve JCI as a trainer, having trained in Canada, Curaçao, Western Europe, and throughout the United States.

Brian works as a software developer for Orion Advisor Services, LLC in Omaha and is a JCI Certified National Trainer, JCI Nebraska Governor #379 and JCI Senator #66145.
