JCI Presenter, the JCI Effective Presentation Course is a full day course that focuses on the concepts of creating and delivering an effective presentation utilizing visual aids and strong delivery methods with a mind towards understanding the audience. Participants practice presentations during the entire course.

JCI Presenter should be taken by all members who want to expand their presentation skills in order to make better project reports and intervene during chapter meetings.

JCI Presenter will be head trained by national guest Anthony Colletti, USJC National Treasurer.  Registration is required in advance.  If you have a JCI login go to www.jci.cc and register by going to Training > Upcoming Courses > and then JCI Presenter (Little Rock).  If you don’t have a login go to  www.jci.cc/register.php to sign in.

The State Annual Meeting will be held August 12 – 13, 2011 in the Little Rock River Market District Downtown.  The meetings will be held at the Arkansas Studies Institute (http://www.arstudies.org/) and the hotel will be the Courtyard by Marriott on President Clinton Avenue (http://cwp.marriott.com/litdt/arjaycees/).  Registraton is open at http://arjc.eventbrite.com

The 2010 Year-End Awards were presented on Saturday, March 5th by 73rd State President Jeff Deniston in Jonesboro.  The winners are:

Registration details for the 2010 ARJC Year-End Celebration are now available online. This event will feature the swearing in of the 2011 President Toby Stephens and the 2011 Executive Committee, as well as 2010 Awards, Final Report from outgoing President Jeff Deniston, and training from United States Junior Chamber National Vice President Jennifer Ray.

ARJC Board of Directors Meeting

The 2011 Planning Meeting and final Board of Directors meeting of the Arkansas Junior Chamber for the year will be held on Saturday, November 6th.  We will start at 10 AM and should be done before 4 PM. The meetings and trainings will be held at the Arkansas Studies Institute at 401 President Clinton Avenue in the River Market District of Little Rock. 

Regional Local Officer Training Schools (LOTS) will be scheduled shortly around Arkansas allowing for short commutes for those in attendance.
