			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>JCI Presenter, the JCI Effective Presentation Course is a full day course that focuses on the concepts of creating and delivering an effective presentation utilizing visual aids and strong delivery methods with a mind towards understanding the audience. Participants practice presentations during the entire course.</p>
<p>JCI Presenter should be taken by all members who want to expand their presentation skills in order to make better project reports and intervene during chapter meetings.</p>

<p>Regional Local Officer Training Schools (LOTS) will be scheduled shortly around Arkansas allowing for short commutes for those in attendance.</p>

<p>The El Dorado Junior Chamber will host the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Arkansas Junior Chamber August 13-15, 2010.  We will have 2011 State Officer elections, trainings, and a good time.</p>
<p>The Country Inn &amp; Suites, El Dorado’s newest establishment, will be the official hotel and central meeting point.  Hotel rooms will be in a block beginning at $75 a night with advance registration under the Arkansas Jaycees room block.</p>

<p>The convention facilities are comprised of one main meeting hall room that can accommodate a dinner for 60 or a theater style up to 100.  Suites are also available. On Sunday we will have the use of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce at 111 West Main Street.</p>
<p>There will be a hospitality shuttle available on Saturday day for shopping and on Saturday night for a night on the town with a visit to one or more entertainment establishments.</p>
<p>Registration is tiered pricing. <br />
Advance registration through the Year-End weekend will be $45.00;<br />
After Year-End up until the Monday before the Annual Meeting will be $55.00;<br />
On-site will be $65.00</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The 2009 Annual Meeting of the Arkansas Junior Chamber will be on August 21-23, 2009 at the <a href="http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hotel/jbrar?rpb=hotel&#038;crUrl=/h/d/hi/1/en/availsearch&#038;ias=y">Holiday Inn</a> in Jonesboro.  The election of the 2010 Executive Committee will take place at this meeting and amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws will be offered.  </p>
<p>Early bird registration is open through August 7 and is $60.00.  After the Seventh, registration will be $65.00.
