Race Day is a chance for Jaycees from around the state to gather together and have fun. There’s no work or trainings to attend on this day.

Race Day is also an excellent opportunity to introduce new people to the Jaycees and to let them meet not only local members, but members from around the state.

Tickets to the horse races will be $6.50. Unlike previous years, this does not include a box lunch (and is also not $20). There are several restaurants in the immediate area of Oaklawn Park that we can lunch at if desired. The state organization is not pre-booking hotel rooms this year. If you desire to stay overnight, booking the hotel room will be your responsibility.

We will have the 7th race in our honor.

We have rooms reserved at the Howard Johnson for Friday April 4th and Saturday April 5th. To get a room please call Molly Foreman at 870 904 3869 or email her at ea@ccalliance.us.

Registration is $20 and you must have your name in to me by March 29th. This will include a seat and a boxed lunch.

We will be having dinner as a group on Saturday night at the Porterhouse. Please let Molly know if you will be attending.

There won’t be any meetings or training, just a great time of food, fun, and a few beverages. I hope to see all of you there. Please give me a shout if you have any questions.
