The 2010 Year-End Awards were presented on Saturday, March 5th by 73rd State President Jeff Deniston in Jonesboro.  The winners are:

The Jonesboro Jaycees have made the news twice in one day. Even better, it’s good news!

Two projects of the Jonesboro Jaycees have been featured in The Sun, the regional newspaper of Northeast Arkansas. The first article is about Jonesboro’s Christmas for Kids program which donates toys to hundreds upon hundreds of underprivileged children in Jonesboro and the surrounding area. Last year, Christmas for Kids served nearly 1,700 kids.

The second article is about the 60th Annual Jonesboro Christmas Parade which is hosted by the Jonesboro Jaycees.

A Chairman’s Planning Guide book judging will be held on November 15th at 2pm in Jonesboro at the Jonesboro Jaycees Meeting Room at the Northeast Arkansas District Fairgrounds. Projects with a final report approved by their Chapter’s Board of Directors prior to June 30, 2008 will be eligible for judging. Awards will be handed out at the Annual Meeting in Conway on November 22.

The 2007 Year-End Awards & February 2008 Board of Directors Meeting will be co-hosted by the Paragould and Jonesboro chapters on the weekend of February 15-17. It will be in at the Quality Suites in Paragould. The room rate is $60 per night and the program is in the works.
