			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>John Baine was appointed by United States Junior Chamber President Jeff Lank as the 2010 Chair of the United States Junior Chamber Training Task Force.  The Training Task Force was created to develop training materials for state and local chapters along with operating a trainer’s database of the some two-hundred US based JCI Trainers as well as other trainers with special skills available to local chapters through the Junior Chamber University program.</p>
<p>He recently completed all requirements to become a JCI Certified Local Trainer with Junior Chamber International, JCI.  Baine is the only graduate of the JCI Trainer program in the state of Arkansas and is responsible for interactive member training within local Junior Chamber chapters across the state.  JCI is a worldwide leadership development organization with 200,000 members in 5,000 local chapters in over 100 countries. JCI is the worldwide organization that includes the United States Junior Chamber, the Arkansas Junior Chamber, and the El Dorado Jaycees.</p>
<p>Baine served as President of the El Dorado Jaycees in 2006. He went on to serve the Arkansas Junior Chamber as Business Development Vice-President in 2007, as the 71st President in 2008, and as Chairman of the Board in 2009.</p>
<p>He is an accountant with Murphy Oil Corporation and is serving his fifth term as a Justice of the Peace on the Union County Quorum Court.  He is also active on the boards of the Boomtown Toastmasters of El Dorado, Arkansas Association of Quorum Courts, Arkansas State University Alumni Association, and was appointed by Governor Beebe to the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources Advisory Committee. He and his wife Jennifer reside in El Dorado.</p>

<p>Attached is the agenda for the year end board meeting which will be held March 5th-7th in Fort Smith.  There will be an &#8220;abbreviated&#8221; Pub Crawl on Friday night beginning at approximately 7 pm, which will depart from some pre-determined point in the hotel lobby.  If you arrive later than that, please contact me via my cell at 870-275-1975 for an up-to-date location of our roving band of merry men and women.</p>
<p>Also, we only have until this Friday (Feb 26th) to make our room reservations for the low price of $79/night.  After that, the room rate goes to $109-$129 so please contact the hotel at 479-783-1000 to reserve your room.</p>

Annual Meeting of the Corporation</p>
<p>The Country Inn &amp; Suites, El Dorado’s newest establishment, will be the official hotel and central meeting point.  Hotel rooms will be in a block beginning at $75 a night with advance registration under the Arkansas Jaycees room block.</p>
<p>Meals included:<br />
Saturday &amp; Sunday continental breakfast<br />
Boxed lunch on Saturday<br />
Buffet dinner Saturday night</p>
<p>The convention facilities are comprised of one main meeting hall room that can accommodate a dinner for 60 or a theater style up to 100.  Suites are also available. On Sunday we will have the use of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce at 111 West Main Street.</p>
<p>There will be a hospitality shuttle available on Saturday day for shopping and on Saturday night for a night on the town with a visit to one or more entertainment establishments.</p>
<p>Registration is tiered pricing. <br />
Advance registration through the Year-End weekend will be $45.00;<br />
After Year-End up until the Monday before the Annual Meeting will be $55.00;<br />
On-site will be $65.00</p>
<p>Refunds will be available up until the Monday before the Annual Meeting and are transferable.  An alumni/Senate rate will be made available upon negotiation with the JCI Senate.</p>

<blockquote><p>The Blue Chip program recognizes well rounded, healthy chapters, districts, regions, and states. Requirements are designed to ensure that Blue Chip organizations are offering well balanced programming for local members, actively participating in strengthening local chapters, and extending the Jaycee experience. Blue Chip is a year-long process. While no requirement is difficult to attain, it requires each state to develop and implement a plan of action.</p></blockquote>
