Chapter Management: Ten Sessions for Local Officers Training

Posted in Training on January 1st, 2008 by Jeff – Be the first to comment

One of the major concerns of a National Organization is to ensure that its affiliated chapters are operating effectively. It is therefore important that chapter officers have a clear understanding of their duties. To ensure that chapter officers are well trained, it is recommended that the National Organization conduct Chapter Management Training, which can be attended by every chapter officer in the country. In small National Organizations, this can be accomplished by holding a national training day for local officers, while in larger National Organizations, the training can be organized on a regional basis.

AIM: Action, Involvement, Monitoring

Posted in Training on January 1st, 2008 by Jeff – Comments Off

The purpose of the AIM Program is to get a newly extended Jaycee chapter up and running with all new members involved in planning the chapter’s activities. This module addresses the steps to be taken AFTER you have collected checks and information from 30 members. In other words, this program should not be run until after the chapter has applied for affiliation with the state and national organization.
